According to Section 7.1 Device Use Zone in the ASTM F2970 Standard, the device use zone shall encompass the area from the ground surface beneath the TC beds to 204 in. (518.16 cm) above the ground surface. So the minimum clear height (from the ground to the lowest overhead obstruction) needs to be 204 in. (518.16 cm). Just so you know, it’s 5.2m in PAS 5000 (British Standard). In general, we recommend the minimum clear height to be 5.2m.
For high-performance trampoline parks, it gets even more critical. If you plan to use the 13mm web mat trampolines, you need 20 feet (6.2m) of clear height. If you use the 6mm web mat, you need 25 feet (7.7m) of clear height.
